The Gentrification Suite is a sumptuous and smooth political song suite in the style of Mahogonny Songspiel by Brecht/Weill, telling the story of a young man from the suburbs who comes to the big city to hang out in Dalston/Williamsburg/Mitte. The suite started with the composition of  “Shoreditchification”, as part of The Ballad of Skinny Lattes and Vintage Clothing, which proved to be a big hit with audiences and so a further four songs were added to complete the cycle, along with a bonus track “A Revolutionary Manifesto for the Middle Classes”.
