In 2011, Artistic Director Joseph Young created a solo installation for iPods at a&e gallery in Brighton, assisted by Associate Director Peter Faulkner. The audience were invited to step through a theatrical curtain into a listening salon, in which rows of chairs were set out for an imaginary concert featuring a mute performer (in the form of a dummy head on a plinth) and the remaining fragments of the score of Awakening of A City set out in front of the audience.
The work was reviewed on criticismism and a-n interface.
